In Sulgrave's 14th Century parish church, dedicated to St James the Less, we are lucky to have a beautiful, late Victorian pipe organ, built by the renowned organ builder JJ Binns of Leeds in 1892 - now considered his best period.
It has been just undergone a total restoration, having been silent since 2006, and is now one of few such fine instruments remaining in its original state.
It will bring added joy to regular congregations and will enhance wedding services and enable Sulgrave to host a variety of musical events.
Our goal is to create an inclusive fund to provide an organist, maintain the organ and create a scholarship for enthusiasts to learn how to play the organ.
A fund for now and for future generations.
